Baby Point

Baby Point is really part of High Park, but the houses here are more expensive and the streets more exlusive. This is the high end enclave in the West End of Toronto.

I would call Baby Point one of the leafiest neighbourhoods of Toronto. What makes it popular among the residents of Toronto is its proximity to good schools, short walking distance to shopping and green space.

In some parts of the area there are some condominiums that can well serve as starter homes for young individuals. However, the property prices in primary locations go all the way up to several millions of dollars. People living here appreciate the fact that they can stay in the neighbourhood and progress over time as they income allowes while staying in the neighbourhood that they know. This is what makes Baby Point  a healthy neighbourhod.

This neighbourhood also features easily accesible areas, James, Runnymede, High park subway stops are near here.

Baby Point was an early settlement of the first nations, developed in the early 1900s for executives of the railways, and it remained an executive neighbourhood. Now mostly professionals, academics, lawyers and doctors live here. In my estimate, 1.5 million for a home would be an average price in this area of Toronto.
