North Central Etobicoke

With reasonably priced homes and lots of green space, North Central Etobicoke is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Lot of people look for this easily accessible area, and they appreciate the availability of bungalows, built largely during the fifties and sixties. I should mention at least two landmarks in this neighbourhood, namely the Weston Golf Club founded more than 100 years ago, and the popular shopping mall area Crossroads Centre.

The Humber river with its popular bike trails sets its natural boundary from East. Mostly long-term residents live in North Central Etobicoke, but gradually younger families are also discovering this neighbourhood.

For me, the best kept secret of this area is the Elmo Clinic, a vet situated in the Royal York Plaza. If I was to recommend a good veterinarian in Toronto I’d advise to see this fellow: he is a compassionate professional.
